Frequently Asked Questions

Bid Upgrade allows you to name your price for a Business or Premium Economy upgrade. If your bid is accepted, your card is charged and you receive the upgrade.

eUpgrade credits are earned by Aeroplan Super Elite, Elite 75K, and Elite 35K members and can be used to request upgrades on eligible fares.

Basic fare tickets are not eligible for upgrades. You would need to rebook into a Standard or higher fare to request an upgrade.

You can bid up to 5 days before departure, and results are typically communicated within 48 hours of the flight.

Purchased upgrades are generally non-refundable if cancelled, but eUpgrade credits are returned if the upgrade is not confirmed.
