For most airfares purchased online, the Shipra Travels recommended booking service fee is approximately $28 per person on all passenger type tickets for both domestic and international travel. This fee is subject to change without notice. The total final price displayed is the actual amount payable, which already includes any updated fees and discounts. You have the right to decline the purchase if the total amount is not acceptable.

Billing: Your credit card may be billed in multiple charges that will not exceed the total amount. All transaction service fees are 100% non-refundable.

Service Fees: No representations are made regarding the service fees charged, which apply strictly to site usage and booking creation. Fees for booking through our call center may be higher and carry no representations or warranties, except for the agent’s assistance in searching for travel products and making the booking. All service fees are subject to change at any time, and the most updated fees may not always be reflected here.

Any and all changes made to an itinerary are heavily restricted and subject to airline fare rules (whichever is more restrictive). Most tickets, hotels, packages, and cruises do not allow any date or name changes after the booking is completed. Shipra Travels does not guarantee, and shall not be responsible for, any bookings or reservations confirmed to you if the original itinerary was changed by the supplier due to a customer request or schedule change.

Exchange Fees: For itineraries where changes are permitted, an exchange/change fee is charged by Shipra Travels, plus any airline penalties and fare differences. Please contact our call center to determine the total cost of exchanging your ticket. Note that these fees are subject to change without notice; the latest updated fees will be provided by the agent during the call.

Most airline tickets are 100% non-refundable*. In certain cases where the airline allows cancellations, a credit may be issued for future travel by the same passenger on the same airline. An applicable penalty and fare difference (if any) will apply. Airline-issued credits are valid for a limited time with a specific expiration date, which should be discussed with a customer service agent.

All permissible cancellations must be completed prior to the scheduled departure of the first flight segment by calling our customer service center. We do not guarantee any cancellation. A cancellation fee, as specified by the agent, must be paid at the time of cancellation and will be retained by us.

When you are ready to make a new booking using your credit, you must pay any fare difference, applicable airline penalties, and Shipra Travels exchange fees. All changes are governed by the airlines' rules and are out of our control; Shipra Travels provides no representations or guarantees regarding changes or fees.

No additional representations are made for our exchange fees, except that an agent will assist in locating your desired new flights and attempt to rebook based on availability and other factors.

*Some refunds on tickets are also dependent on the policies (Fare Rules) of the Airlines applicable at the time of booking.

If your itinerary consists of more than one airline, separate fare rules will apply. Different policies regarding baggage fees, change fees, and refunds may apply for each direction or individual airline. For changes, refunds, or exchanges, each airline may charge you separately.

Schedule Changes & Cancellations: If your initial flight is cancelled or changed by either you or the airline, the secondary airline booked for your return flight is not obligated to issue a refund or change your itinerary.

You are responsible for complying with each airline’s specific terms and conditions, which may differ (e.g., check-in times and baggage size/weight limits). It is highly advisable to print your outbound and return e-ticket confirmations prior to travelling, as you may be asked for proof of your return ticket at check-in.

Most airline tickets, hotels, pre-paid car rentals, vacation packages, and service fees are non-refundable. All cancellations must be handled over the phone. We accept refund requests only if the following conditions are met:

  • You have applied for a cancellation and refund with us, and the fare rules explicitly provide for it.
  • You are not a "no show" (most "no show" bookings are ineligible for supplier waivers).
  • We are able to secure the necessary waivers from suppliers to process the request.

We cannot provide a specific timeline for refund processing, as all requests are handled sequentially. Once you provide your cancellation request to our customer service agent, we will send an email notification acknowledging your request and providing a tracking number. This notification does not qualify you for a refund automatically; it is simply an acknowledgement.

Upon receipt, we will work with the suppliers (airlines, hotels, etc.) to generate a waiver based on their rules and notify you of their decision. Shipra Travels service fees associated with the original reservation are not refundable. Generally, suppliers will charge their own penalty for the refund.

Once approved by the supplier, it may take additional time for the funds to appear on your credit card statement. The refund will be issued via the original payment source. The entire process typically takes 4 to 6 weeks from the receipt of your request to the credit appearing on your statement. Apart from supplier penalties, Shipra Travels will charge a processing fee of $50–$300 per ticket, per person.

These processing fees are only assessed if a refund is authorized by the supplier or a waiver is received. If the supplier denies the refund, we will refund any processing fees charged to you, but our original service fees for the travel reservation will not be refunded.
